The MoneyWorks Reports web app displays a nominated report, generated in real-time on your MoneyWorks Datacentre. As such it can only be run when there is an internet connection available.
Before you can access your Datacentre, you need to configure this app with the required Datacentre and Document usernames and passwords. This is done by tapping
the "Settings" button. Note that username and passwords are stored in the app, so you only need to enter them once.
Once the appropriate security settings have been made, you can display a list of the available reports by tapping on the "Reports for 'your document' button. The
list can be filtered by entering a part of the report name in the Filter field at the top of the list.
Tapping on one of the reports will display the MoneyWorks Report Settings for that report. Having specified your settings, simply tap the "Run" button to generate
the report. A list of recent reports is maintained on the home screen.
More help screens are provided as you work through the app.
Performance:
The performance of the App will depend on the bandwidth and latency of your internet connection. Typcially a report will appear within a couple of seconds, but
it will be longer for slower connections. More complex reports will of course take longer. Note that if you connect to a MoneyWorks file that is not in use, there
will be a slight initial delay while Datacentre opens the file for you.
Saving your App:
You may run your MoneyWorks Reports app from your mobile web browser, however for the best user experence it is recommended that you save your app to the home screen of your device.
First, return from here to the Main Menu, then tap the middle bookmark button and select 'Add to Home Screen' After entering some details and tapping
'Add' you will have a icon for MoneyWorks Reports on your home screen.
Supported devices:
This app is written in HTML5 and Javascript, so should run on any modern browser. It has been tested on iPhone/iPad with iOS 5.0+, and also Android devices.
On the desktop, Safari 5.1 and Chrome both seem to work fine.

If using MoneyWorks Now, enter your MoneyWorks Now username and password, tap Save Settings, then tap Document Settings and tap on the desired MoneyWorks Now file.
Otherwise MoneyWorks Datacentre access is controlled by an optional Datacentre User and Password. You will need to ascertain these from your Datacentre Administrator.
If your Datacentre has controlled access in this manner, enter the User Name and Password into the appropriate fields and Tap the Save Settings button.
Leave these blank if there are no access controls on your Datacentre.
Once you have provided the correct Datacentre settings, tap the Document Settings button to select your MoneyWorks file from a list of accessible
files that are hosted on the Datacentre. Your currently selected file (if any) will be highlighted in the list in black.
The Report type filter allows you to display just the Standard MoneyWorks reports, just the Customised reports, or all reports.
